You might be wondering, who did my graduation make-up? Of course, it’s none other than my sister, Sophie! She always does my make-up! Even on my 18th birthday and on my prom! That’s why I love her! *nyahaha* (kidding achi, I still love you even if you don’t do my make-up. moo-on >:D< )

I’m still a bit senti now that everyone’s parting ways in college and going to attend different colleges. I’ll really miss high school.

Oh dear, i miss sharing my adventures with you. Let me start with my movie experience!

I’m proud to say that I’ve seen the Avengers in 3D already! It’s a really FANTASTIC movie! I was able to enjoy it even if I haven’t watched the Hulk, Thor and Captain America yet. Well, it was because of this movie that i want to watch their individual movies!

Sadly, I wasn’t able to catch the after credits scene. But I’m so hoping for an Avengers part TWO! Everyone was so hooked up with the Avengers that I found this on Facebook.

This was the funniest part of the movie. ) And since I’m still in to the Avengers, I bought a copy of Kapitan Sino by Bob Ong to start my Bob Ong book collection.

Hoho, hoping to read this as soon as I have finished reading Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief! (I had three attempts in trying to finish this and I never get tired of it!)

Oh how i miss blogging. I’m still in shock that I still remember how to read WordPress codes! All the HTML, CSS and PHPs!:)) Okay, that’s it for now! More adventures soon!

I was really surprised to know that Vday and Chinese New Year’s day are on a same day.

It’s Chinese New Year again, and (as always) I expected food! We woke up early in the morning for Ongpin (street in Chinatown where all things chinese are found). But we ate our breakfast first! Grandma prepared it.

for breakfast, we had:

Misua (I don’t really know how it’s called in english ) )

and

Sweet egg

My mom said that these food are very traditional to bring goodluck for the whole year.

I was excited to go to Ongpin! Last time we went there during the new year’s was when I was 8, i guess. I remembered how grand the celebration was. And so I brought a camera just to have a shot of everything we did

So when we got to Ongpin:

This was the first dragon we saw. It was pretty! haha! gold! But we were still in the car , so I haven’t had the chance to take a good photo of this dragon. And so, we went out of the car and started walking!

Yay! another dragon! and many people. haha After we bumped into this dragon, we changed route (too many people. eek! x.x ) But when we reached Shopper’s Mart, we saw this dragon again! lol! There were many people in front of the shop.

After the dancing lion took the angpao, the owner of the shop were throwing candies and angpaos! We didn’t get the chance to get closer, well coz it was very crowded in that area. And all of a sudden, there were two sets of fire crackers (sinturon in hudas) that were lighted. It was nice when the dancing lion was dancing along with the smoke. Too bad I didn’t get a photo of it! I was busy covering my ears )

This is how the street is crowded with people when it’s Chinese New Year. If you look at the right side of the picture, there are many photographers sitting on a car just to get a picture of every moment. ^^

Some people even bought balloons to make a wish before they let go of it.

After walking around, we ate at Wai Ying’s! Well of course! Who would forget the delicious food for such a special ocassion!

Radish cake! yay! It’s very delicious esp when you put sauce on it. Well, since it’s only three pieces (with the four of us on the table :hehe: ) We shared it! Like we did with the hofan noodles!

After celebrating Chinese New Year at Ongpin, we turned to celebrate heart’s day! Since mom’s the only one to give our love on valentine’s day, it was sweet of father to buy her flowers

Yesterday, I had a dentist appointment. Had my braces adjusted for the last time. And had my last color of my braces. My dentist said that on my next appointment, my braces will finally be off! *yay!* I requested for pink&yellow. Just like the first time I had braces, 2 colors . But I had pink&green before. I really hope that my mom would agree for my molars to be extracted so I won’t have any dental problems anymore ^^ .

I really hate the weather. >.<

We were supposed to have our swimming lessons awhile ago. But lessons were suspended because of the typhoon. But it didn’t rain the whole day! *taas taas na nga ng araw eh… humph…* I was really looking forward to swimming! rawr.

And still spending it watching Taiwanese Dramas. Again, I finished another one ) . I finished watching Ming Dao & Joanne Zeng’s Magicians of Love & Ethan Ruan and Joe Chen’s Fated to Love You (too lazy to post pics of the series. hehe!). Besides watching, me and my sisters are playing Restaurant City! And still stuck at home.

Happy New Year everyone! welcome 2009!

We only have one day before school resumes. I’m half excited and half lazy to come to school. Excited, because I’m going to see my friends again . And lazy, because there would be homeworks >_< . I doubt I can wake up as early as before, I’ve been sleeping during midnights these days, and waking up at almost noon. x.x

Yesterday, we did our annual general cleaning of the whole house. It isn’t the same cleaning a BIGGER house. >.< More mess ^.^ . Missing things were found (as usual),  rearrangement of things, taking out unused and useless things. I started with my closet,  it was very bulky before, too many clothes (some were given to me by my sisters). And now it’s spacey! yey! ^^ . Then, I unpacked my Christmas gifts that were stacked in a place, I placed them all in my small cabinet. Now our room is spacey as well . Well, ofcourse I also fixed my school bag. Lucky me that I’m in HS already, because we don’t need to take home all our things during exams So i’m very comfortable of not losing anything in the house. But still hoping I didn’t forget anything ^.^ (no homeworks anyway! yey! first time toh!) Guess who’s coming with me to school

I packed along with me the pencil case my friend, Sam, gave me for Christmas. I couldn’t resist and wait for 2nd year to use it! :love: My bag’ new too. I only used it for a week, I think. I bought it from Jellybeans’ . So love pink! :lovestruck:

There were movie time for us too during the vacation. We watched Transformers, Spiderman 3, Shrek the Third, Tenacious D &  Men in Black in HBO. Upcoming movies to watch in HBO : License to Wed and Rush Hour 3 We’re also going to watch Twilight, Bolt and Bedtime Stories from other sources yey!  Aside from movies, I got adicted to Nicholas Teo(from Smiling Pasta, also a singer ^^) and finished watching his new Taiwanese series, Wu Di Shan Bao Mei. He was paired with Amber Kuo. I’m still looking forward on his upcoming shows and more Chinese drama!

Almost forgot, I need to list my new year’s resolution for 2009! Well, here goes!

1. I have to keep my things organized from beginning up to the end.
2. Studies before gadgets.
3. Strive for honors this year!
4. Stop bickering with my small sister ) .
5. Be responsible-er.
6. EARN MONEY this summer. (that’s a must )
7. Don’t be a burden to my parents and keep them happy, spend less pennies, and study more!
8. Gotta get back my cheerful back 
9. Sleep earlier during school days! (bakit school days lang? ) )
10. Eat less! )

Well, I guess that’s just about it . I hope I can fulfill those this year!

I really don’t want summer to end! Well, it’s really the best summer I had as of now. I experienced moving in to a new house, a nicer one too. I experienced a better set of swimming lessons. Made new friends, probably more, since the other swimming lessons I had had fewer students. And I also experienced my first swimming competition ever. And had my first ribbons too. I kinda regret that I didn’t do well in swimming back then. I even experienced a party that has a lunch and dinner catering last Sunday! It was so cool! Though we didn’t go out of town this year, it’s still the best. But we were really planning on going to Baguio this year last Holy week. But, since we’re busy moving, we spent the Holy week watching lots of movies. I really hope next year’s summer would be even better though . These experiences are unforgettable. But, I still can’t believe summer’s over! ) and I can’t believe that I’m already in High School! I dreamed of the graduation ceremony three times! ) So funny. Where does the time go!?

Me and my sister made the remaining of summer vacation worth it. We watched movies! Yippee! Last Sunday (while the party was ongoing), we watched a movie called 1408 (director’s cut). Super creepy, Though it was a nice movie (Funny I posted 2 things about 13 here ) lol) . Then yesterday, we watched Spiderwick. Another nice movie . Then a while ago, we watched half of Flushed Away, since the DVD had some problems.

And oh yeah, about my crocheted bag, here it is! Voila!

Apologies to my readers. I was really too lazy to update these days. And, the same reason from my last post, I always doze off after my swimming lessons =/. Sorry if I still haven’t return your comments, I will now, since my swimming lessons are done and I’m free until the end of summer. I’m going to make it up to you!

Summer Laziness, one of my summer sickness. Sadly, my swimming lessons are already done. My coach encouraged me to join the swimming competition last Saturday, May 17, 2008. It was a competition between different Bert Lozada Swim School branches. The theme was Speedo-BLSS 1st Plunge Swim Carnival.I was afraid I would lose. My coach got me in 4 25m events, fly, back, breast, free. And 2 Medley Relays. But I DID win 3 . I won 5th place on the 25m backstroke swim, 6th place on the 25m breaststroke swim and 6th place on a Medley Relay. I was glad I won something on my first competition .

I also have a certificate of Participation for joining the competition.

I’m really happy that my parents allowed me to participate on this competition! It was really my first time competing! Even though I wasn’t able to stretch and warm up before the competition, I was late already =/. And I made friends too! Yey! We kept on cheering for our team! I’m a proud team member of AWS! Though, every after event I kept shivering, it was really cold there. We were competing on an outdoor pool.

I really got bored and very lazy to finish Harry Potter 4. So I crocheted cellphone pouches again! I also learned some fancy stitches from NexStitch. I think I’m old already for crocheting! ) . i already crocheted 4 cellphone pouches in two days for my cellphone, and my sisters’ cellphones too.

I found one of the crochet pouches my sister received last year from Christmas. I tried imitating it. It’s still in progress.

A while ago, we went to school and got our class cards. I’m happy with my section . I’m still with most of my classmates in grade 6. Only few got transferred. Our classes starts on June 10. So it’s only about 2 weeks before classes starts.

It’s not only my blog that’s been neglected, but our portfolio too. =/ I’ll try finishing them of next week before classes starts.

It’s May already. And after one month, it’s back to school again. Sigh…

Before setting myself into sleep, me and my sisters usually read our books up to… 1:00? or maybe 2:00 (in my case). Last Sunday, before sleeping, me and my sister saw some sheets of paper. So delicious. But this time, my sister started eating the bar, and I can’t help asking for some! You might be wondering what I’m doing to keep my summer boredom away even if we don’t go out. Well, I read lots of books, drain the battery of my cellphone listening to music, do some photoshop experiments, and lastly, spend lots of quality time with my sisters . I like spending time with them especially if we’re doing something new or foolish! ‘Til here! Happy Summer!
