Aesthetics

There is way too much going on here–too many colors, too many pictures, too many ads, and too many sidebars. This whole site is cluttered. You could cut this down and give your visitors a milder headache. Also, your color scheme should incorporate five colors at most, and hopefully a few of those will be different shades of the same hue. Also, why so many ads? You’re cheapening yourself and your site by voluntarily putting so many ads up. I don’t think there is one thing I like about this design. I’m fighting the urge to close your site and refuse to review it. GOD, WHY ARE THERE SO MANY COLORS?!

Readability

I can’t read most of your text on the second sidebar, which you shouldn’t have anyway. Also, those rediculous boxes with the ugly floral backgrounds are unreadable.

Content
Site

There are too many pages here. Many of these could fit on one page; “About,” “Blogging History,” and “Themes” could be on one page, for instance. Also, I notice the “Back|Refresh|Forward” links. You don’t need those here. It’s just silly when all browsers come with these functions. All of the subpages take way too long to load and aren’t even worth it because of their brevity.

Webmistress

At least I can tolerate this page. However, the titles of each section blend in with the bullets’ text. These should be distinct. Also, “Webmistress” should be larger, which will make it more distinct as well. The subpages do not need descriptions.

Visitors

Everything here is useless or unoriginal aside from the Oreo cheesecake recipe. Try to think of more complex or original tutorials.

Exits

These subpages should all be grouped into one page.

Coding

Well I assumed your coding would all be invalid, and it is. Your XHTML has 201 errors! This is unbelievable. At this point, you need to start from scratch. Your CSS cannot be checked, but I assume it is invalid as well.

Why is this review short? Because I couldn’t stand to look at your site for longer than twenty minutes. I give your site a 1/5, which means that “your site is utterly horrid in every way.”
