Moving on.. sorry if I hadn’t been blogging for days, or maybe weeks,or a month already…

We had our field trip last July 30 at Falcon Crest. Super fun! Last August 17 (i think), the elementary department had their Fiesta. Why not join in? :)) I ate lots of palabok! And, oh yeah, we just finished off our first quarter. EXAMS WERE BLOODY. The results of my exams were not that good. But I’m happy that I’m able to have some 90+ even in minor subjects. I’m really happy that I scored 98% on my Li Shi (Chinese History) exam! WOOT!

I started my second quarter with full attention to my studies. Well, I do use the computer frequently. hihi! But I still study you know! I find our General Science interesting now. Because we’re discussing about Chemistry! yey! Its fun memorizing the symbols from the periodic table of elements. **I can’t believe I’m finally found memorizing fun! :))**

Majority of my post will be about SCHOOL. Again . Sorry for my negligence to JPB.Com =/. Well, it’s just because there are so many homeworks! requirements! projects! And now that the exams are coming, there are many deadlines to encounter! And we’ll be having another Chinese History test tomorrow. Too lazy to study right now. And we still have to make a reaction paper on the president’s State on the Nation Address. UGH. Enough stress talk :)) .

Behind all the stress work in school, I still am having fun. Especially during Thursdays(our PE day). Speaking of fun, we’re having our field trip on Wednesday! YEY! We’re going the whole day out. Right now, I’m planning on what to bring on our field trip. FOOD and ENTERTAINMENT. I still have troubles on my digital camera. Because it’s kinda malfunctioning! :)) Hope it doesn’t broke during the field trip. I wish to buy a camera if I get enough money! :D:D

Oh well, better study now, I can’t fail Chinese, really.

Of course, school isn’t just about quizzes. We had our club fair last Saturday! YEY! First of all, I joined the Scratch Association (drawing club). Then my second club was Chinese Club. I joined the Scratch Association so that I may learn some techniques on drawing :D, I really want to draw well! I joined the Chinese Club, because, uhm.. I want to learn more Chinese stuff! And our first activity, according to our Chinese Club moderator, was Wu Shu and modern dancing I think. Hopefully, it would be fun!

No classes tomorrow by the way :D. BUT! my group mates are coming over to make the CHINESE SCRIPT FOR THE CHINESE HISTORY CLASS. Which is very hard to do! And another test in Religion! in Social Studies! Research in Computer! Chinese Calligraphy(small ones T_T)! UGH! HS is stressful!

I woke up at almost 7:00 am, because my parents were talking that it woke me up. I heard them saying that the electricity’s been out since midnight. I barely noticed that because I had a really nice sleep :D. It was also raining continuously. After hearing that conversation, I slept again and woke up again at 9:00 am, i thought it was already lunch, so I told everyone in the room “huwag nalang kaya tayo maglunch…” (in english, let’s skip lunch). My sister laughed and said that it’s too early for lunch! I checked my phone for text messages, then I saw the battery’s almost dead. Then around 11:00 am, my dad decided to fix the generator because my sister and my mom are about to cook lunch. I tried accessing the internet but there was no dial tone on the phone line! ugh! So the generator was on for 2 hours. Then I accompanied my dad to the generator (which is outside) to switch it off. So we got slightly wet, it was still raining though. Then almost everyone in the house slept all afternoon, except for me, and my two sisters. I worked on my Math homework while my sister checked if I did it right. My little sister was very busy playing a never-ending-game in the laptop. When I was done with Math, the electricity’s up again! Yipee! So I checked the internet if it’s up. The dial tone’s fine, but no internet :(( ! But the cable’s fine already :D. It started raining again after stopping for barely 2 hours! ugh!

The next day… I checked the internet again, still, nothing. My sister called to inquire about the internet and why is it still down. After 1 hour, voila! there’s internet! But my little sister stole the laptop from me. My other sister is using the desktop computer and my other sister was using her Mac. But! I was the one who checked the internet but then, I was the one who  couldn’t use the internet! I have to wait 2-3 hours before I could use the internet. So I did my computer homework first. It was to look for the functions of the toolbox of Macromedia Flash. I had a hard time looking for it.

I’m really happy that classes will resume tomorrow! I’m dying from boredom here!!!

I really don’t want summer to end! Well, it’s really the best summer I had as of now. I experienced moving in to a new house, a nicer one too. I experienced a better set of swimming lessons. Made new friends, probably more, since the other swimming lessons I had had fewer students. And I also experienced my first swimming competition ever. And had my first ribbons too. I kinda regret that I didn’t do well in swimming back then. I even experienced a party that has a lunch and dinner catering last Sunday! It was so cool! Though we didn’t go out of town this year, it’s still the best. But we were really planning on going to Baguio this year last Holy week. But, since we’re busy moving, we spent the Holy week watching lots of movies. I really hope next year’s summer would be even better though . These experiences are unforgettable. But, I still can’t believe summer’s over! :)) and I can’t believe that I’m already in High School! I dreamed of the graduation ceremony three times! :)) So funny. Where does the time go!?

Me and my sister made the remaining of summer vacation worth it. We watched movies! Yippee! Last Sunday (while the party was ongoing), we watched a movie called 1408 (director’s cut). Super creepy, Though it was a nice movie (Funny I posted 2 things about 13 here :)) lol) . Then yesterday, we watched Spiderwick. Another nice movie :D. Then a while ago, we watched half of Flushed Away, since the DVD had some problems.

I can’t believe it! It’s already June and our first day of school is really near! Just 4 days! Just 7 days! (School’s been moved to June 13, dunno why, but loving it!) Well anyways, I haven’t updated for days due to laziness (again) and due to some internet problems. And I have been watching iCarly on NIckelodeon. I really love it! I’ve been watching it thrice a day, since they do show broadcast it thrice a day. But I barely watch new episodes of iCarly, because they’ve been broadcasting some replays repeatedly, more than twice already. But still I’m enjoying it =) .

Moving on… Yesterday, we went to the mall to buy the other stuff we need for school. We went on a weekday because we knew that more people would be in bookstores and malls during weekends. There was a sale on school bags, me and my little sis needed one, we we bought each for ourselves =). She bought a backpack and I bought a body bag. I’ve been using body bags for a year, and I’m comfortable with it =) . As my sister promised me (to buy yarns for my new project), she bought me 2 yarns for project S. BAG (Sarabeth’s Bag) :)) and a new needle which is bigger . Currently, I think I’ve finished almost one fourth of the bag. I was hoping to finish it before school starts. After that, we went to the National Bookstore to buy the lacking school supplies. Then we went to the Food Court and ordered food from Reyes’ BBQ. REALLY TASTY.

Last Friday, we went to school and took our class cards. Luckily, I’m still with my friends. I love my section for my first year! Most of my classmates last year are still my classmates now. But they slightly shuffled our batch. I hope my other friends are still with our section.

Last Sunday, we went to the mall to buy thing we need for school. And the good thing is, they bought me new shoes! yey! I love it! The one I tried first was chosen by my sister, too bad my size was out of stock for that design. So they chose another one!

Along buying new shoes, we bought our school supplies too. But they’re not yet complete, because the shop we entered doesn’t have complete supplies. So we still have to go buy the other supplies next week. When we were buying shoe laces for my rubber shoes, I saw a colorful yarn! I said to myself : “I need to buy it! =))” .

Crocheting has been my pasttime since my swimming lessons were over. And my sisters kept requesting me to make cellphone pouches! Here’s another one that I made for my sister.

Apologies to my readers. I was really too lazy to update these days. And, the same reason from my last post, I always doze off after my swimming lessons =/. Sorry if I still haven’t return your comments, I will now, since my swimming lessons are done and I’m free until the end of summer. I’m going to make it up to you!

Summer Laziness, one of my summer sickness. Sadly, my swimming lessons are already done. My coach encouraged me to join the swimming competition last Saturday, May 17, 2008. It was a competition between different Bert Lozada Swim School branches. The theme was Speedo-BLSS 1st Plunge Swim Carnival.I was afraid I would lose. My coach got me in 4 25m events, fly, back, breast, free. And 2 Medley Relays. But I DID win 3 . I won 5th place on the 25m backstroke swim, 6th place on the 25m breaststroke swim and 6th place on a Medley Relay. I was glad I won something on my first competition :).

I also have a certificate of Participation for joining the competition.

I’m really happy that my parents allowed me to participate on this competition! It was really my first time competing! Even though I wasn’t able to stretch and warm up before the competition, I was late already =/. And I made friends too! Yey! We kept on cheering for our team! I’m a proud team member of AWS! Though, every after event I kept shivering, it was really cold there. We were competing on an outdoor pool.

I really got bored and very lazy to finish Harry Potter 4. So I crocheted cellphone pouches again! I also learned some fancy stitches from NexStitch. I think I’m old already for crocheting! :)) . i already crocheted 4 cellphone pouches in two days for my cellphone, and my sisters’ cellphones too.

I found one of the crochet pouches my sister received last year from Christmas. I tried imitating it. It’s still in progress.

A while ago, we went to school and got our class cards. I’m happy with my section :). I’m still with most of my classmates in grade 6. Only few got transferred. Our classes starts on June 10. So it’s only about 2 weeks before classes starts.

It’s not only my blog that’s been neglected, but our portfolio too. =/ I’ll try finishing them of next week before classes starts.
