I felt really excited when my sister already booked us months ago for this trip! Believe it or not, it was me and my little sister’s first plane ride AND beach trip together

Funny thing you should know, i was more excited to ride the plane with my little sister. ) I was the one who kept peeping out of the window just to see the the 30,000 ft view of the Philippines, which looks cool at night! Especially the city lights in Manila. Well in Cebu, i expected less city lights, but theirs were almost as many as Manila’s!

I couldn’t take a nice photo of the city lights, so here’s a photo of the sunset instead.

DAY 1

First stop, dinner at Cafe Laguna in Ayala mall.

Next, we woke up pretty early to get ready to go to the beach at Mactan Shangri-La . This beach trip was the highlight of our vacation. It’s been years since we’ve been to a beach! Haha! So we packed lots of sun screen lotion, and of course, we didn’t forget out hats and shades! 8D

So here’s a view of the pool. I was excited to swim again, because it’s been 2-3 months since I last swam. (and the reason that i’m blowing up now.^^)

Since this was shobe’s first beach trip, she really wanted to build some sand castles! Haha! But we weren’t sure if that was possible xD

So we molded a big heart instead!

I can say that my shobe really enjoyed being at the beach, as well as my parents! I can still remember how dad played with us and tried catching some fish! So cute! :”) and how I put sand in his pockets. >:) HAHA, evil me.

I swear I think that I was going to gain lots of weight after this trip. But it’s very occasional for us to go out of town, so might as well enjoy the food! So here’s what I had for lunch at Tides buffet at Mactan Shangri-la .

After our lunch and beach fun at Mactan Shangri-La, we headed back to the hotel before we have our dinner. Since we had too much Filipino cuisine food, we decided to go Vietnamese at Lemon Grass at the Ayala Mall again.

So much for enjoying the food, i wasn’t able to remember the name of the dishes again. -.-” This always happens to me. ) Thank you achi for helping me remember. ) Our day didn’t just end there, my achi’s friend, who lives there in Cebu, invited us for dessert at Dulce.

We got back at the hotel with our tummies REALLY full. o.o And it was our last night in Cebu. sigh.

DAY 3

Oh, Cebu. We weren’t ready to say good bye yet. It was then I realized that those three days were just temporary. A short getaway from all the stress. After all this, we have to pack up our bags and go home. Hai. We didn’t even want to get off the super soft hotel beds yet! I even had a hard time waking shobe up!

First thing we had for that day was our breakfast buffet at the Marriott Hotel.

Garlic rice, egg’s benedict, longganisa and bacon. Filipino-ish style;) I had this kind of breakfast for two days.

Okay! time for our day tour to wrap up our trip! Good bye hotel, hello van! ) It wouldn’t be cool if we didn’t visit the historical places in Cebu. First, we visited the beautiful Taoist temple.

Next stop, the church where Magellan’s cross is located.

Next, to Fort San Pedro.

It’s called Fuerza de San Pedro in Spanish.

Last stop, to Mactan International Airport. Hai, it was really time to go home. So much for a permanent vacation. ) I hope we could get this kind of vacation once in a while. This vacation was worthwhile, even if it means gaining pounds (and not exercising. teehee!! ) Thank you, mom, dad, and achi for taking me and shobe to this wonderful trip. >:D< Hopefully we could go out all together next time with dichi and sachi!

You might be wondering, who did my graduation make-up? Of course, it’s none other than my sister, Sophie! She always does my make-up! Even on my 18th birthday and on my prom! That’s why I love her! *nyahaha* (kidding achi, I still love you even if you don’t do my make-up. moo-on >:D< )

I’m still a bit senti now that everyone’s parting ways in college and going to attend different colleges. I’ll really miss high school.

Oh dear, i miss sharing my adventures with you. Let me start with my movie experience!

I’m proud to say that I’ve seen the Avengers in 3D already! It’s a really FANTASTIC movie! I was able to enjoy it even if I haven’t watched the Hulk, Thor and Captain America yet. Well, it was because of this movie that i want to watch their individual movies!

Sadly, I wasn’t able to catch the after credits scene. But I’m so hoping for an Avengers part TWO! Everyone was so hooked up with the Avengers that I found this on Facebook.

This was the funniest part of the movie. ) And since I’m still in to the Avengers, I bought a copy of Kapitan Sino by Bob Ong to start my Bob Ong book collection.

Hoho, hoping to read this as soon as I have finished reading Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief! (I had three attempts in trying to finish this and I never get tired of it!)

Oh how i miss blogging. I’m still in shock that I still remember how to read WordPress codes! All the HTML, CSS and PHPs!:)) Okay, that’s it for now! More adventures soon!

Sorry guys, i don’t know why some of my pages aren’t functioning properly. I was supposed to change my theme but i had some trouble fixing it

Anyways, school is nearing and so are college applications and assessments. I’m going to be a senior this coming school year! Until now, I’m still kinda undecided of my course. And I’m scared not to pass the tests that i will be taking ( . I didn’t attend any review programs, so I bought and borrowed some college review books from my friends and had my tutor teach me things I don’t know. Then I tried answering some, and the results aren’t that nice. So I’ve been busy studying the review books, and I’ve been having advanced classes also for Math and Physics too. I hope all these studying pays off when the exams come!

I used to say that I didn’t need to think of my course that soon, but now I’m having a bit of a hard time deciding  For now, I have Chemistry for a course in mind. I enjoyed and excelled in Chemistry in my third year So I think it might be the one. I also want to be in the field of business. For that, I have Business Management and Accountancy in my list. But I’m still unsure of these. I hope I get to decide soon for the best choice, because soon I need to fill up college application forms! Right now, I have an application for University of The Philippines (UP) form to fill up.

I’ve been thinking day and night about my future self o.o and I think I should stop that ) because I’m pressuring myself even more!   My dear Lord, please help me on this!

I figured that i haven’t really updated my blog for a while now (a year *cough*). I got stuck up with studies, studies, and studies. ) I guess I last updated about my summer last year, and my sophies year. Well I’m happy and proud to tell everyone that i improved alot in my studies in my third year. I could really compare my lazy old self before i stepped in my third year. I’m not just happy about my studies, but also with my new buddies! ).

So, what did you miss? ) Let’s put this in bullet form

• Hello third year!
• I had my first school competitions in swimming.^^
• Teachers’ day – first time in my HS life, i participated ))
• Retreat at Tagaytay while Manila in experiencing a typhoon ) It was unfair though, because classes were suspended there. )
• CHRISTMAS! We went to Spirals for a buffet, i screwed up. Instead of enjoying the food, i began to feel unwell
• I began watching American series! yay! Like How I Met Your Mother and Glee
• Batch Play (Vendetta: To Be or Not To Be, That Is The Question) tiring, but fun!
• JS PROM <3 my fave :> I had my make-up done by my sister, Sophie. My hair by Michelle Cabrera and my dress was made by Camille Co of Co-Exist. All these taken care of my sister just to make my night magical <3.
• My Birthday! 3/11- also the day when Japan experienced the 8.9M earthquake and tsunami let’s pray for them!
• Campus Tours to Manila’s best universities (we also went to Enderun, btw )
• Daddy’s birthday! we went to the Diamond Hotel and had buffet. REALLY YUMMY DESSERT
• I finally made it to the honor’s list! yayyy! (this concludes my junior year)
• and other school activities…. )

My summer’11 was supposed to be a really busy one.I’m supposed to be occupied by my advance classes/ college review sessions and swimming training til i was struck with the measles. Right, the measles. It ruined my schedule o.o I was also supposed to have fun with my friends to Ace Water Spa. ) Oh! I miss everything outside this house But oh well, God just sent me a message to just lie down, rest and leave that for later. And read books i bought earlier. ) Til my next post!

Hey there! I finally get to blog today! ) And so I wasn’t able to use the computer for a while due to my hectic summer schedule. Because I had training at swimming from monday to friday in the morning, and by the time I get home, i barely have an hour to prepare for a whole afternoon advance summer lessons o.o . But glad my afternoon’s schedules all blank now . Now that I’m back, lemme tell you about my summer

So yeah, we had swimming and tutor almost everyday. This was the first time that I have a summer seeing my friends almost everyday! I had my tutor sessions (Geometry, Chemistry and Trigonometry) with my best friend here at out house. But on our last three sessions, we had our session at Binondo with his two other tutees. It was a last-three-whole-day-session though. But it was fun too we even ate our lunch out!

Day 1, we finally finished Chemistry! woohoo! ) and we ate out at Mr. Ube’s. Since i didn’t bring a nice camera along, my cellphone camera was my only hope :hehe: . We all ate noodles there, and here’s mine:

I had Gokong Noodles. It’s my fave! Though it has a bit taste of Sibut (a Chinese soup), it’s still the best for me

Day 2, we continued Trigonometry! But we had a long lunch break and we had KFC for lunch! Here’s my lunch:

Speaking of KFC, me and my sister happend to win two Creamy Tomato Pasta Bowl giftchecks from Nuffnang! So lemme sneak in my review here^^

KFC’s Creamy Tomamto Pasta Bowl’s indeed creamy! And this thing made me quite full once I finished this bowl. When eating spaghetti, I usually want the tomato sauce and carbonara sauce combination. And I actually had that taste on the Creamy Tomato Pasta Bowl! I super love this! Well, this is the second time eating this actually. The first time was with my sister, Sophie. Since I was pretty satisfied the first time I ate it, I thought I’d eat this again

Other than the Creamy Tomato Pasta Bowl, we also ordered this:

KFC’s Cheesy Balls! (Well i actually forgot what it’s really called xD. Sorry!) TASTY and CHEESY. <3

After tutor, the other two tutees went for a joyride with us on our way home ) We even played Monopoly in the car! )

And Day 3, we ate our lunch at David’s Tea House. No pictures though >.< Just ate a simple bowl of Fish Fillet Congee boo. It was already the last day of tutor! And we were’nt even complete >.< But we were more insane on that day ) But well, this means that my afternoons for the whole May would be blank >.< BOO. :stern:

My summer wasn’t all about swimming and tutor though .Unluckily, I had to skip swimming for two weeks because of an opened wound i had after a training day. I slipped and I had to hit on a sharp corner. And after two days of returning, swimming was canceled again due to maintenance o.o . Why is this happening to me >.< So I accompanied my sister to her badminton session instead. And this happened:

My dad wanted us to take a picture with him. It’s rare to see a celebrity around, so there. Oh well, it’s just a picture though with the kids taking their lessons ) He was also playing badminton there.

And oh yeah, let me not forget about the historical May elections here in the Philippines. The first time ever conduct an automated election It wasn’t quite successful though o.o My parents went back twice to the voting pricint because of the long line >.<

Also, if you live here in the Philippines, you might as well know the big trash the candidates made >.< Posters everywhere! Here and there! I could barely see the walls! and even the electric wires! They managed to make poster-banderitas o.o .

Now that the election’s over, I hope they find a way to clean this up without hurting mother earth. And I hope the next election won’t be this messy >.<

I’m blogging from our school library. I’m bored. Well since they blocked social networking sites here, all i have is my blog and Y! mail & Y! messenger.

It’s already of summer vacation, but I’m spending my first days of vacation here in school. *for clearance signing*

Another year of highschool passed. This made me sad for a moment. Hai… Two more years, and I’ll be leaving this school already As well as my friends here. I enjoyed my stay in my current section, though they weren’t the classmates i had in the previous year. I made new friends,knew them better, and new experiences

I’d like to express my gratitude to those who welcomed me warmly to this section, and to those who helped me all throughout. And sorry for my noisy, aggressive behavior ) Though I was separated from my freshie’s section, I still had fun with my sophomore year.

Another senti-moment for another school year passed. And another one yet to come. More surprises, and more new faces to encounter. (hope I’m still classmates with my friends next year!*fingers crossed!*) And I hope for a better school year to come

It’s Chinese New Year again, and (as always) I expected food! We woke up early in the morning for Ongpin (street in Chinatown where all things chinese are found). But we ate our breakfast first! Grandma prepared it.

for breakfast, we had:

Misua (I don’t really know how it’s called in english ) )

and

Sweet egg

My mom said that these food are very traditional to bring goodluck for the whole year.

I was excited to go to Ongpin! Last time we went there during the new year’s was when I was 8, i guess. I remembered how grand the celebration was. And so I brought a camera just to have a shot of everything we did

So when we got to Ongpin:

This was the first dragon we saw. It was pretty! haha! gold! But we were still in the car , so I haven’t had the chance to take a good photo of this dragon. And so, we went out of the car and started walking!

Yay! another dragon! and many people. haha After we bumped into this dragon, we changed route (too many people. eek! x.x ) But when we reached Shopper’s Mart, we saw this dragon again! lol! There were many people in front of the shop.

After the dancing lion took the angpao, the owner of the shop were throwing candies and angpaos! We didn’t get the chance to get closer, well coz it was very crowded in that area. And all of a sudden, there were two sets of fire crackers (sinturon in hudas) that were lighted. It was nice when the dancing lion was dancing along with the smoke. Too bad I didn’t get a photo of it! I was busy covering my ears )

This is how the street is crowded with people when it’s Chinese New Year. If you look at the right side of the picture, there are many photographers sitting on a car just to get a picture of every moment. ^^

Some people even bought balloons to make a wish before they let go of it.

After walking around, we ate at Wai Ying’s! Well of course! Who would forget the delicious food for such a special ocassion!

Radish cake! yay! It’s very delicious esp when you put sauce on it. Well, since it’s only three pieces (with the four of us on the table :hehe: ) We shared it! Like we did with the hofan noodles!

After celebrating Chinese New Year at Ongpin, we turned to celebrate heart’s day! Since mom’s the only one to give our love on valentine’s day, it was sweet of father to buy her flowers

5. Our field trip in EARTH HAVEN was a blast.
6. It’s our second year in this house already!
7. Performed in front of lots of people once again last teacher’s day 2009 )
8. Broke my record of staying awake until 2am! :bigeyes:
9. MORE SCHOOL BREAKS. :hehe:
10. And oh yeah! I was elected class officer again ) as a class treasurer. again.
11. Though famous personalities passed away in this year, they remain the best in our hearts. RIP, Cory Aquino & Michael Jackson.
12. More natural disaster hit our country in this year, but unity was again witnessed.

To make 2010 a better year, I came up with a list of my new year’s resolution!  Hope it will help me become better too. And to add a mix to my new year, I decided to do the 365 project. Here’s my site!

Our field trip was held in EartHeaven! SO FUN. Even if it was VERY MUDDY out there, it was a good experience. ) Activities we had were hanging bridge, fill in the pail, catch the piglet, spider’s web, mud crawl and rappelling!
